Mosborough is one of the closer locations to our office and you can arrive in as little as twenty minutes by car although there are plenty of public transport options too, particularly when travelling from Halfway or the Crystal Peaks shopping centre.
Even so, we realise that meeting with us is a commitment of time and money which are limited when you’re eager to get a mortgage secured. So why should you make the effort to visit us to discuss your needs with our mortgage broker?
How Can We Help?
The main benefit we find client’s really value from our advice is confidence in their financial decisions knowing that an unbiased mortgage expert is fighting their corner from search and application to approval and completion.
On a more practical note, we also complete all of the paper work and monitor the process from application to completion which often means chasing lenders, solicitors and estate agents on your behalf to minimise delays and errors.
The end result for our clients if often a mortgage process with far less stress and property transactions completed on time.
Getting Ready for Your First Mortgage Meeting
Securing a mortgage involves various milestones throughout the process, the first of which is the market search to find a lender and product which best meets your individual needs.
To ensure a successful search, our mortgage broker will first need to confirm various details about your finances including your monthly affordability which then determines the amount you can borrow. A big part of your initial meeting with an adviser will involve asking questions about your needs and financial situation which must be backed up with documents to satisfy any lenders decision criteria.
To make your first meeting as productive as possible it’s important to have the following documents with you so the adviser can start your mortgage search quickly and have everything ready to secure your agreement in principle…
- Latest three months bank statements
- Latest three months pay slips or certified accounts
- Details of any existing borrowing including credit cards, loans or mortgages
- Evidence of identity using a valid driving licence or passport
- Evidence of address using your latest council tax or utility bill
- An up to date credit report would also be useful
If you have any questions about providing these documents or any other financial information, please contact us before your mortgage consultation.
