Stocksbridge Directions

Despite being at the opposite end of Sheffield, it only takes around forty minutes to arrive at our office in Woodseats when travelling by car from Stocksbridge.

We are located on the south side of the city at 861 Chesterfield Road S8 0SQ, close to the Big Tree public house and Graves Park.

So why should you travel at least forty minutes to the other side of the city to see us about your mortgage options?

Why Use Us to Find and Arrange Your Mortgage?

It’s quite simple really, you could be paying your mortgage for as long as twenty-five years.  So making the effort now to ensure you get the best advice and the best deal could save you a great deal of money and stress in years to come.

More specifically, we have the experience and mortgage connections to match some of the best deals from the whole UK market to your personal and financial circumstances.

Not only that but our service includes full management of your mortgage application from getting you an agreement in principle through to a full application and final completion.  Crucially this also includes us regularly liaising between your lender, solicitor and estate agent on your behalf to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible.

What to Bring to Your Consultation?

To find the most appropriate deal for your circumstances, your mortgage broker first needs to understand your current situation. Part of this means asking you a series of questions to calculate your budget and level of mortgage affordability.

As with any form of borrowing, a number of important documents are required to first obtain an agreement in principle for you and then submit the full mortgage application. Many of these are mandatory and used to provide evidence of your name, address and income so as a minimum, please bring originals of these documents:

  • Proof of identity (passport or driving licence)
  • Proof of address for last 3 years (council tax or utility bill)
  • Latest 3 months payslips plus p60
  • Latest 3 months bank statements
  • Details of existing debts
  • Proof of your deposit

An ideal would also be the latest copy of your credit report, which can be obtained from providers such as Equifax and Experian.
